Will.i.am Proclaims 'This Is Love' on New Single: Listen
The Black Eyed Peas leader wants to show the world what,
specifically, love is, as his new single, "This Is Love," premiered on
Capital FM on Monday (May 14).

times over," and the Black Eyed Peas leader likens it to some of the
best work he's done with the band.

Linkin Park deprived Maroon 5
of a U.K. No. 1 album as the new sales charts were published on
Sunday (July 1), while Adam Levine and co also lost their singles
crown to will.i.am featuring Eva Simons.
Linkin Park's "Living Things" (Warner Bros./Warner Music) debuted at the top to become their third U.K. No. 1 album, following 2003's "Meteora" and "Minutes To Midnight" in 2008. The new set finished the sales week on 41,000 units, some 3,000 copies ahead of Maroon 5's "Overexposed" (Octone/A&M/Universal), which would also have been their third British bestseller.
Singles-wise, the Los Angeles pop-rock band's "Payphone," featuring Wiz Khalifa, dropped a place after entering at the summit last week, as "This Is Love" (Interscope/Universal) by will.i.am featuring Eva Simons powered to the top, Opening sales of 102,000, according to the Official Charts Company, gave will.i.am his first solo U.K. No. 1 after five with Black Eyed Peas over the last nine years. It's the first time that sales of the U.K.'s bestselling single of the week have been north of 100,000 for four weeks in a row since 2009.
The album chart also had a 7-3 rise for Ed Sheeran's quadruple-platinum "+" (Asylum/Warner Music), in its 42nd chart week. The sales rise owed much to Sheeran's performance at BBC Radio 1's widely-exposed Hackney Weekend, which also helped Jay-Z and Kanye West bounce back 20-7 with "Watch The Throne" (Roc-a-Fella/Universal). Last week's chart-topper, Justin Bieber's "Believe" (Def Jam/Universal), fell to No. 4 as Emeli Sandé's former No. 1 "Our Version of Events" (Virgin/EMI) dipped 4-5. Flo Rida posted a No. 8 debut for his "Wild Ones" set (Atlantic/Warner Music); "Clubland 21" (All Around The World/Universal Music TV) was a new entry at No. 1 on the compilation chart.
Chris Brown's new single "Don't Wake Me Up" (RCA/Sony Music Entertainment) debuted at No. 3, as Katy Perry scored her latest top ten hit with "Wide Awake" (Virgin/EMI), up 12-10. Taio Cruz's "There She Goes" (4th & Broadway/Universal Island) started at No. 12. The official 2012 Olympics song, Muse's "Survival" (Helium 3/Warner Bros./Warner Music) opened at No. 25.
