Chad Johnson Sentenced In Evelyn Lozada Domestic Violence Case (DETAILS)

Chad Johnson has received his sentence in the Evelyn Lozada domestic violence case.

Chad will not face any jail time, but will be put on probation for 12 months, must enroll in a batterers intervention program, and will not be allowed to have any contact with Evelyn during his probation period.

TMZ Reports:

Chad showed up to a Florida courtroom for his sentencing this morning, where he pled "no contest" to a charge of domestic battery, stemming from the violent August 11th argument with Lozada over a condom receipt.

In exchange for the plea, Chad escaped a jail sentence -- but was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to enroll in a batterers intervention program.

The judge also issued a no-contact order for the duration of his probation, blocking Chad from contacting Evelyn in any way -- no email, no Twitter, no nothing.

Usher Puts His Game Face on for 'The Voice'

Usher just announced this week that he'll be joining The Voice as a judge on the show's upcoming spring season, but the R&B star already has his game face on. "Obviously the competitive nature of the show is just raging," he told Rolling Stone this weekend at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.

The art of recruiting plays a big part in the competition, with each coach trying to get the best contestants on his or her team. Filling in for Cee Lo, Usher will be going up against two solid salesmen in Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. (The fourth coach will be Shakira, taking the place of Christina Aguilera.)

Usher definitely doesn't lack confidence when it comes to his ability to entice the vocal talent to join his side. "I don’t know if they’re really ready for my pitch," he said. "I’m probably doing too much right now even talking about it because I don’t want them to have any clues, any direction what my process is."

His confidence seems well founded, based on his track record helping Justin Bieber. "I just say this: Let the record show that as a mentor it’s something that I do, let’s just leave it at that," he said, laughing.

In addition to serving on The Voice next spring, Usher said that he will be returning to the road with the Euphoria tour next year. And there will be more new music as well. "I’m coming with another single, 'Numb,' really soon and doing some incredible online viral stuff that I think you guys should really check out," he said. "I’m gonna continue to be creative."

Kato Kaelin Says OJ Simpson Did In Fact Kill His Wife!

It's been 18 years since the OJ Simpson murder trial, and now, TV and radio personality Kato Kaelin (the only person known to have been around OJ the time the incident took place) has come out saying OJ did in fact kill his wife, Nicole Brown - changing his tune quite a bit since taking the stand back in 1994.

The New York Post reports:

Ask Kaelin today, this very minute, if O.J. — currently jailed in Vegas on a separate charge — killed his wife, and I repeat his exact words:

“The statute of limitations has now passed . . . so I can now say . . . yes, he did it.”

Why didn’t he come forward and tell the truth? Ask why he let O.J. Simpson get away with murder, and I repeat his exact words:

“I was too scared. I was terrified...He says: “People hated me. I’ve been spat upon. They threw gum in my coffee.”

But, as this report came out this morning, TMZ reached out to the one time friend of OJ, where he claimed he never told the New York Post that he knows OJ Simpson murdered his wife or that he's only coming forward now because the statute of limitations on perjury has run out. 

TMZ reports:

Kato says he was shocked when he read the report which quoted him as saying, "The statute of limitations has now passed ... so I can now say ... yes, he did it."

Kato tells TMZ ... he never said any of those things to reporter Cindy Adams or anyone else. 

Kato says he has expressed his opinion over the years ... that he THINKS Simpson killed Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman ... but tells us, "I have no first hand knowledge."

So, who's telling the truth? Stay tuned, as we're sure this won't be over anytime soon.

Fiona Apple Talks to Audience About Her Drug Arrest

At a concert in Houston two days after her drug arrest, Fiona Apple opened up to her audience about the experience while alluding obscurely to some kind of wrongdoing by people involved in the arrest. 

Apple was busted on Wednesday in the border town of Sierra Blanca, Texas, when police found hash and marijuana in her tour bus during a search. She was held briefly at the Hudspeth County Jail.

The singer started out by apologizing to "the guy who runs the jail," for being "atittudey." She then went on to call out four others for some kind of behavior that she calls "inappropriate" and "probably illegal."

"And I want you to know that I heard everything you did," Apple said onstage. "I wrote it all down with your names and everything you did and said, stupidly thinking that I couldn't hear or see you. I then ripped the paper up, but not before I encoded it and – I got two lock boxes. We'll call them 'holding cell one' and 'holding cell two.' In 'holding cell one' is the encoded version of the shit that you did that I know was inappropriate and probably illegal. In 'holding cell two' is the decoder. I'm the only one who holds the key, and you and I will be intimate forever because I will hold that secret forever. Unless of course the celebrity that you had so much interest in but you wanted to accuse me of bringing up while you laughed at me all night? Unless you're interested in being a celebrity, I'll make you fucking famous any time you ask and I'll open those boxes. So why don't you stay in your fucking holding cell?"

Rohan Marley is fed up with rumors Wyclef Jean started concerning lies Lauryn Hill allegedly told regarding the paternity of her first born, Zion David.

In a recent memoir, Wyclef shocked the world when he accused Lauryn of leading him to believe the baby was his all along when it was really Rohan's!

Rohan also explained that the political Haitian singer, and ex-Fugees bandmate, is the one who said it was cool for him and Lauryn to date!

He went on to say:

"They were definitely not messing around, or he would never have given me the okay... [Wyclef] just saying false things to get book headlines. He knows he is fronting himself."

Honestly, someone needed to take up for L. Boogie because new accusations against her are appearing out of thin air weekly.

In Sin City for the second annual iHeartRadio Music Festival, the "You Da One" singer hit up the Guns and Ammo Garage, a shooting range with the tagline "We Make Guns Fun" that specializes in mobster-like semi-automatics. There she fired off an AR-15, a M4 carbine and a SAW (aka Squad Automatic Weapon) machine gun, according to staff. Her aim wasn't too bad either. She later uploaded a photo of her presumed target paper and most of the bullet holes were pretty close to the bullseye.

FLO RIDA REFUSES TO PAY FOR SECURITY SYSTEM, GETS SUED

Flo Rida is refusing to pay for his home security system because the "Low" rapper says he didn't authorize all the features that were installed on his Miami mansion several years ago.

ADT, America's largest home security and surveillance company, filed a lawsuit against the rapper demanding that he pay the remaining $38,733 he owes the company for wiring up his home back in 2009. Around the time his "Right Round" single shot to radio, the hip-hop hitmaker, born Tramar Dillard, allegedly put down a $19,366.66 deposit for said system. Features include several sensors, smoke detectors and at least 27 security cameras. However, Flo Rida says he didn't give ADT the OK to install all the features.

ADT provided a copy of the initial contract in its court filing, and also seeks interest for a grand total of $47,134.40. Flo Rida charges that he is not responsible for the bill since it's the name of alleged manager, Lee Prince, that appears on the signature line in the contract and not his, therefore nulling the agreement. You know, because if the signature don't fit, you must acquit.
