Rolling Stones Concert To Air as Live Pay-Per-View Via World Wrestling Ent.

World Wrestling Entertainment will  distribute the final of four Rolling Stones concerts this year as a live pay-per-view event entitled "One More Shot."

The legendary band earlier on Monday (Oct. 15) said it would play two London gigs in November and two concerts at the Prudential Center, in Newark, New Jersey in December. The final show on Dec. 15 will be the one available on pay-per-view live at 9pm ET.

WWE distributes a dozen sports entertainment events every year, includingWrestleMania, its version of the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, independent TV production giant Endemol has partnered with Rolling Stones promoter Dainty Group for the 50th anniversary tour. Endemol UK and Endemol Netherlands are set to co-manage the international digital rights to the tour with Dainty.

"Endemol and Dainty Group are also collaborating on plans that will allow fans unprecedented interaction with the "50 and Counting" tour experience, more details of which will be revealed in due course," the partners said.

The deal is Endemol's second international digital partnership of the past week. Last week, it unveiled the launch of themed channels for YouTube in Germany and France following its success with more than 30 YouTube channels in Italy.

"50 and Counting is set to be a phenomenal global celebration of the Rolling Stones and we'll soon be announcing further plans to make it an interactive experience for fans like no other," said Tim Hincks, president of Endemol Group.

Laurens Drillich, managing director of Endemol Netherlands Media Group, added: "Expansion and innovation in the digital space continues to be a core part of Endemol's strategy, and this collaboration is the latest example of that. We strongly believe it is representative of where the market is heading, and we look forward to revealing more soon."

This year's four tour dates will be the first time in more than five years that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have played a concert together.

Dallas Austin Named Senior VP of A&R at Island Records

In the latest announcement of an established hitmaker scoring a top A&R role at a major label, the Island Def Jam Music Group announced today that veteran songwriter/producer Dallas Austin will be joining the company as a Senior Vice President, A&R for Island Records. Austin will be reporting directly to Barry Weiss, Chairman & CEO of Universal Republic and Island Def Jam Motown. 

Weiss described Austin as "a veteran who has been supplying chart hits to this industry for more than two decades, across multiple genres and around the world. Island Records is fortunate that such a coveted creative force is working with the company and its artists," he continued in a statement. 

"I am truly honored," Austin stated of his new appointment, which will see him writing and producing for current Island artists and also discovering and signing new talent. 

Over the years, Austin has scored hits with Madonna ("Secret"), Michael Jackson ("They Don't Care About Us [Remix]"), and Monica ("Don't Take It Personal [Just One Of Dem Days]"), among many others. More recently, Austin has worked with Gwen Stefani ("Cool"), Chris Brown ("Key 2 Your Heart"), and Carly Rae Jepsen ("Tiny Little Bows"). 

Austin might be best-known for his work with TLC and pop singer Pink. He worked extensively on the TLC albums FanMail (including the smash "Unpretty") and CrazySexyCool, both of which won a Grammy for Best R&B Album. Austin helped make P!nk the star she is today by producing and sharing writing credits with the singer on "Don't Let Me Get Me" and "Just Like A Pill," two hit singles from her early album Mizzundastood. 
  
The past year has seen a flurry of producers and songwriters taking positions at majors, with Island Def Jam leading the trend. Last August the company brought on hip-hop producer No I.D. (famous for working with Kanye West and Jay-Z on tracks like "Run This Town", "D.O.A." and "Heartless") as the new Executive Vice President of A&R. More recently, Ne-Yo moved to Motown, signing on as both an artist and as Senior VP of A&R, and The-Dream has joined Def Jam also as Executive Vice President of A&R. 

Other high-profile hitmakers landed at Sony: Dr. Luke brought his Kemosabe label to the company, and Tricky Stewart (who scored hits with The-Dream including Rihanna's "Umbrella" and Justin Bieber's "Baby," among many others) was named president of A&R at Epic Records.

HULK HOGAN SUES MIAMI DJ FOR SEXTAPE LEAK

Pro-wrestling veteran Hulk Hogan is filing lawsuits against a Tampa Bay-based disc jockey, the DJ's ex-wife and a New York media group over the sex tape that leaked on the web last week. A press release from Hogan's publicist states that the reality TV star was secretly taped six years ago having sex with the ex-wife of DJ Bubba "The Love Sponge" Clem. He has since filed a cease-and-desist against Gawker, the site that first posted snippets of the tape.

The two lawsuits will be discussed in a press conference this week near the federal courthouse in Tampa.

Ultra Music Festival Expands to 2 Weekends

Monday that the massive Electronic Dance Music event will be taking over Miami's Bayfront Park for two weekends in March.

The prolonged party begins March 15-17 and after a four-day break, revs up again on March 22-24. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 17 on the festival's website. Featured artists will be announced at a later date.
 
Ultra is the centerpiece of Miami Music Week and this edition marks the festival's 15-year anniversary.

"After an extremely successful 2012 edition of ULTRA in Miami, and the continuous overwhelming demand by disappointed fans that were unable to attend because of the early sell-out, we've decided to do what ULTRA has always consistently done throughout the years -- pioneer and push the EDM movement forward," said Ultra Festival co-founder, president and CEO Russell Faibisch in a statement.

Last year's festival featured headlining performances from EDM heavyweights David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and Kaskade, but the biggest moment came courtesy of Madonna, who made a surprise appearance with then-newcomer Avicii.
 
"Electronic dance music has been a part of my life since the beginning of my career," she told the crowd, adding, "I can honestly say a DJ saved my life."

SCOTT STORCH WANTED FOR UNPAID CHILD SUPPORT

Hit producer Scott Storch just can't seem to catch a break.

The authorities are checking for the hip hop music man after failing to pay over two stacks in child support. According to Florida court documents, Storch has not payed $28,300 to his baby mama as ordered by the court, TMZ reports.

After missing a court appearance, the judge issued an arrest order for the beatsmith. But that's not all...

The Beverly Hills Hotel filed a police report that Storch allegedly skipped out on a $4,000 bill. And let's not forget his arrest for coke possession last February. Maybe Lil Kim can help?

Lil Wayne’s skate park opening delayed

NEW ORLEANS — The opening has been delayed for a New Orleans skate park launched by Lil Wayne and corporate sponsors.

Ward McLendon, who manages the Lower 9th Ward facility where the Trukstop skate park is located, said Wednesday there was a “misunderstanding” over when the park would open.

Organizers at a Sept. 26 ribbon-cutting said the park would open to the public on Oct. 1, but McLendon says the insurance and staff needed to run the facility could not be lined up in time.

McLendon says the public will be able to use the park starting Oct. 27.

The Grammy-winning rapper partnered with Mountain Dew and Glu Agency, a New York-based advertising firm, to launch the park, which was built with recycled materials provided by Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation.
