Marrying The Game - Full Episode 1 & 2 [VIDEO]

Gangsta rappers do plan weddings. The first pair of episodes of Compton rapper The Game and his fiancé Tiffney Cambridge's new reality show Marrying The Game aired last night and provided a preview of the drama that's sure to come. 

Besides the Game finding wedding planning to be tedious, there was also the issue of a $3,000 wedding cake that he wasn't trying pay for. We also notice that Game cherishes his sleep, and coolly told Tiffney instead of arguing she could be making dinner. Cold.

Also, even the hearts of the coldest individual had to melt when Game's youngest son, Justice, read the vows he would be delivering for his mother after walking her down the aisle.

Coincidentally, the Game's new album, Jesus Piece, is out December 11th. Watch the first two episodes of Marrying The Game below.

Jamie Foxx To Host SNL, Ne-Yo Will Perform

Saturday Night Live is hit or miss from time to time, but they may have found the remedy. Comedian/actor/singer Jamie Foxx is billed to host the sketch comedy show Dec. 8, while Ne-Yo will be the night's musical guest.

Coming off the presidential election—which has become a golden topic for SNL's writers—the show is holding steady in the ratings race, even though there's not much competition in its time slot. This past Saturday (Nov. 17), viewership rose with Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner at the show's helm. Among the standout skits was a spoof of  Katt Williams, who recently had a public meltdown during a show at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.

Hitting the sound stage at SNL is somewhat familiar territory for Foxx who hosted the show once before, in 2000. Rumor has it that he was banned from SNL, but the neither the show, nor Foxx, have substantiated the story.

The show date will be Ne-Yo's first time on  SNL, but will mark a reunion, with Foxx. The two  previously worked together on the remix for “Independent Woman.”

In addition to  SNL, Foxx, who won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles, can be seen in the film Django Unchained where he plays a freed slave-turned-hitman working with a German.

Barry Manilow Scores 50th Hit On Billboard's Adult Contemporary Chart

More than four decades into his legendary career, Barry Manilow continues to make himself at home on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart.
 
Manilow makes his milestone 50th visit to the survey, as "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" debuts at No. 22 (as the AC format begins its annual migration to playing holiday music). The song appears on Manilow's new yuletide compilation, "The Classic Christmas Album."

With the arrival of "Santa," Manilow passes Johnny Mathis (49 entries) and becomes just the fifth artist to make at least 50 visits in the AC chart's 51-year history. Elton John leads with 68, followed by Barbra Streisand (64), Neil Diamond (58) and Elvis Presley (53).
 
Manilow first appeared on AC the week of Nov. 30, 1974, with "Mandy." Seven weeks later, it became his first of 13 No. 1s. In the chart's archives, only John (16) and the Carpenters (15) have logged more leaders.
 
"My life has been one big miracle," Manilow told Billboard earlier this year. "I come from the world of trying to write a song that will outlive me. That's every composer's goal: to write such a wonderful song that will live forever."

Ja Rule To Be Released From Prison In February

Ja Rule is getting out of prison early next year. Murder Inc's main man has been locked up for the past year and a half stemming from a weapon' possession charge, but his freedom is only a few months away.

The news was revealed via a message posted on his website:

Ja Rule‘s prison sentence is coming to an end. The sentence began on June 7th 2011. During that time he is gained his high school diploma and released his 7th studio album Pain is love 2 (PIL2) with the help of long time producer 7 Aurelius. He is expected to be released on 02/21/2013.

The site also dropped details on a forthcoming movie project I'm In Love With A Church Girl, which will hit theaters in “Spring/Summer 2013.”

At the top of the year, the 36-year-old was interview by the New York Daily News, where he spoke on the relationships he's made in the pen. “Outside, you don't meet guys like this every day. This place is amazing,” he explained. “It's funny. We are from totally different walks of life. But when you're here, you're here.”

Since being behind bars, the Queens native dropped an album Pain Is Love 2, and penned a letter to fans.

He has not yet announced plans for a post-prison music project.

AC/DC Finally Joins iTunes

Just a few weeks after longtime digital holdout Kid Rock announced that his new album will be available on iTunes, another holdout has made the move: in a release Monday morning, Columbia Records and Apple announced that AC/DC's entire catalog is now available digitally, exclusively on the iTunes Store. The catalog includes 16 studio albums, 4 live LPs, 3 compilations and two career-spanning boxed sets.

That leaves Garth Brooks as the remaining superstar artist whose music is not yet available on iTunes. The Beatles, another long holdout, signed on in 2010.

Reps for the band and Apple had not responded to Billboard.biz's request for comment at press time, but Alice Enders of media analysts Enders Analysis told the BBC, "AC/DC probably now understand that their future sales reside on iTunes given the steep decline of the CD in the US, long its top market. If you can't get your music in front of people in the retail outlet, then you have no choice but to embrace digital sales."

In 2008, AC/DC singer Brian Johnson told Reuters:  Maybe I'm just being old-fashioned, but this iTunes, God bless 'em, it's going to kill music if they're not careful. It's a...monster, this thing. It just worries me. And I'm sure they're just doing it all in the interest of making as much ... cash as possible."

Regarding his decision, Kid Rock recently told Billboard, "As a musician, you want the music in as many hands as you can get it into," Rock says. "More importantly, I want people to get the music for the fairest price, and in the most convenient way. And that's really turned into iTunes when you're talking about selling albums."
