Joe Jackson Has Suffered A Stroke

Family sources say that Joe Jackson suffered a stroke Sunday 

morning.

It's being reported that Joe Jackson was brought to a São Paulo hospital this weekend after suffering a stroke. The 87-year-old, who is both the father and former talent manager of Michael and Janet Jackson, is said to have been suffering symptoms of blindness and dizziness, though it's not clear how long-term his ailments will be. He has been living with diabetes for some time.

Joe was celebrating his birthday in Brazil, but according to sources, he may be flown back to be treated in the U.S. -- depending on the results of tests he's currently undergoing.

No further information is known at the time. We will keep you updated with any details as they emerge.

Ice-T & Coco Are Expecting Their First Child Together

Ice-T and Coco announced that they're expecting their first 

child together early this morning.

Ice-T and Coco Austin have been married for 14 years, and while Ice already has 2 children from previous relationships (as well as a 20-year-old grandson), he and Coco have no children of their own, but that will be changing very soon.

Coco shared the news today on Twitter, she's pregnant -- and has been for a while. According to Austin, the announcement was first made on her new talk show with Ice-T, which was recorded last week, but won't air until August 3rd.

"It was a really awesome moment. I cried," Coco said of alerting the live studio audience to the pregnancy. "It was a nice feeling to know that the world knows and I don't have to hide it."

Ice-T echoed Coco's excitement on Twitter this morning, taken aback by the positive reception to the news. "We want to say ThankYou to everyone for the overwhelming LOVE you are sending us! We appreciate you," he wrote.

Hologram performance shut down by police at hip-hop festival

At a hip-hop festival called Craze Fest in Hammond, Indiana, just outside of Chicago, rapper Chief Keef appeared on stage as a hologram. 

But his Saturday night performance only lasted one song before the police shut it down.

Chief Keef, born Keith Cozart, originally planned to hold a benefit concert for his friend and a toddler who were both killed during a shooting this month. The concert was to be held at a theater in Chicago, but Mayor Rahm Emmanuel's office reportedly pressured the theater to cancel the event, according to the Chicago Tribune. The New York Timesreported the mayor's office called Chief Keef "an unacceptable role model" whose music "promotes violence."

Instead, Chief Keef told his fans that he would perform at an undisclosed location and enlisted Hologram USA to help him appear virtually rather than physically, citing outstanding warrants for his arrest in Illinois. Fans weren't told Chief Keef would be performing in Hammond at Wolf Lake Pavilion as part of Craze Fest until 9pm that night.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Chief Keef performed his hit "I Don't Like" from a sound studio in Beverly Hills, California. "[He] was talking about putting a stop to violence when the power was cut off. Police rushed toward the stage, turning the music off about 10:25pm. Shining flashlights, they ordered concertgoers to leave. Fans who gathered Saturday left the grounds in an orderly fashion, though disappointed."

Hammond Mayor Thomas M. McDermott told The New York Times that all of the performances at Craze Fest had been vetted by officials because the event was held in a public park. “I know nothing about Chief Keef,” Mayor McDermott told the Times. “All I’d heard was he has a lot of songs about gangs and shooting people—a history that’s anti-cop, pro-gang, and pro-drug use. He’s been basically outlawed in Chicago, and we’re not going to let you circumvent Mayor Emanuel by going next door.”

Hologram USA CEO Alki David condemned the mayor's actions in a statement. "Shame on the mayor and police chief of Hammond for shutting down a voice that can create positive change in a community in desperate need.... This was a legal event and there was no justification to shut it down besides your glaring disregard for the first amendment right to free speech. Mark my words if you censor us you only make us stronger."

Hologram USA has had a litigious couple of years. Last year, it asked for a permanent injunction to keep a Billboard-sponsored performance from using a hologram of Michael Jackson. Although a judge denied the request, the company argued that it has patented technology based on the Pepper's Ghost illusion that paved the way for a performance by "Tupac" in 2012.

"Yesterday Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven,"

Bobbi Kristina, 22, died Sunday in an Atlanta-area hospice. 

The news came nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtubin her Roswell, Georgia, home on Jan. 31. She never fully regained consciousness and was being kept on life support following her near-drowning. In March she was moved to a long-term care facility in the Atlanta area, and in June she was transferred to hospice care. 

"Yesterday Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven," Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown, said in a statement. "Krissy fought to get well for months, however she has [succumbed] to her injuries." 

Following his daughter's death, Brown contacted loved ones to share the news himself. 
"He is holding it together more than you'd expect," the source tells PEOPLE. "He knew it was coming. Of course he's very emotional, but at the same time, he knows that Krissy is in a better place now. 

"He is taking comfort in the fact that she's with her mother and that there will be no more sadness or pain. She is at peace. He knows that and is taking comfort in that." 

Hova has reportedly invested in an APP for Private Jets

JetSmarter. 

Reports the New York Daily News:

The high-rolling rap mogul recently invested in an app called JetSmarter — which allows users to book a private jet in a matter of seconds.

The lavish company, which is often deemed the Uber of private jets, announced Thursday that it had closed a $20 million round of investments.

It’s unclear how much of that lofty sum came out of Hova’s designer pants’ pockets, but Business Insider confirmed the “Run this Town” rapper did throw his wallet into the ring.

The app, which is available for iOS and Android, was launched in 2013. Users can create custom charter flights to anywhere in the world, and JetSmarter guarantees availability year round.

Grandmaster Flash's Car Given Away by Parking Attendant

New York City police have launched an investigation after hip-hop heavyweightGrandmaster Flash's car was given away at a Manhattan parking garage.

Iconic hip-hop DJ Grandmaster Flash has been on the hunt for his car for more than a week after a parking garage attendant released it to someone else, according to the recording artist and police.A New York Police Department spokesman says Friday that the incident happened July 16 around 7:30 p.m.

Police say Grandmaster Flash, whose real name is Joseph Saddler, parked his 2014 Dodge Charger in the garage in Chelsea. When he returned more than an hour later, the attendant told him he had given the car away to someone else. Police say the attendant said he "made a mistake," thinking the person he turned to car over to was Grandmaster Flash.

Detectives are investigating the incident as grand larceny. The car has not been found.

A man who answered the phone at the parking garage Friday night declined to comment.
