JUELZ SANTANA SHELVES 'BORN TO LOSE, BUILT TO WIN': "I AIN'T GOT NO DATE"

Dipset fans hoping to get their hands on Juelz Santana's long-awaited Born To Lose, Built To Winsolo album will have to wait a bit longer than expected according to the Diplomat.

According to Juelz, his focus is on putting out free music and dropping his third solo effort toward the end of this year.

"Born To Lose, Built To Win, that's what everything is pretty much gearing up to," Juelz said in an interview. "Just pay attention, I told you, this is that free pay-per-view. [It'll come out] probably fourth quarter. I ain't got no date, definitely no date but you'll start hearing music soon. I been working for a minute. I ain't gonna say [I've been] out of commission, but I ain't been doing what I've supposed to been doing for a little minute. So I'm just doing a little making up right now." (Power 99)

Earlier this year, Santana emphasized his aim to drop the LP in 2013.

"It's a certain result you want to get from putting out an album, you dig what I'm saying?," Santana added. "I feel like getting with[Lil] Wayne, us together, we can get the results that I need to capture and I want to capture from putting out this Born to Lose, Built to Win album. I'm not just gonna send him records and ask him what he thinks and he's not just gonna send me records and I just do the records that he likes. It's not going to be that. It's going to be a collective, us figuring out what's the best way to be successful, have a great product that the people appreciate and like more than anything -- and get the results. Definitely this year, 2013. If not, then you'll just hear a lot of music from Juelz. It's just going to be non-stop from Juelz. This is like the platform to keep this ball rolling." (Real Talk NY)

In early December, Santana broke the news of rap star Lil Wayne's involvement on his long-awaited album.

"I went out to Miami to chop it up with Wayne. I actually asked him to executive produce my album, Born to Lose," Santana revealed Wednesday (December 5) when he sat on the red couch with MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway. It's been seven years since the Dipset lyricist released his last solo album, What the Game's Been Missing!, in 2005, and while Juelz makes no excuse for the long gap, he is ready to return to rap in a big way. First, Santana will drop two volumes of his upcoming mixtape series, God Willin', the first of which he plans to release in January. After that, it's album time, and working in tandem with Weezy has Juelz super excited. (MTV)

The New York-based Diplomat previously told SOHH he would not rush out the project.

"Born to Lose, Built to Win, that's the name of my new album and I'm used to getting nothing and turning it into something," Santana explained. "It ain't no Def Jam delay, it ain't no delay, I'm just waiting day-to-day, watching the game and paying attention. I ain't wanna rush an album, I wanna keep it relevant, keep all the pieces right there. I'm just strategically doing things and I don't want to just 'drop' an album. In this day and age, it feels like you gotta give people more so I want them to want for Juelz Santana to over succeed and oversee everything else, I really need to be there." (SOHH)

NBC Cancels ‘Deception’

NBC has canceled Deception, its drama starring Meagan Good as a detective who goes undercover with a wealthy family she grew up with to solve the murder of her childhood buddy. Entertainment Weekly reports that The drama was only averaging a 1.8 rating/5 share in adults 18-49 and 4.93 million viewers.

In related news, NBC announced that Parenthood, Revolution, Grimm, Law & Order: SVU and Chicago Firewould be returning this fall.

ANOTHER NANNY GOES IN ON DIDDY'S EX, WANTS JUICY SIX-FIGURE PAY DAY

Weeks after Bad Boy CEO Diddy's ex-girlfriend Kim Porter caught heat over a lawsuit from a former nanny, another caretaker has come forward to demand justice for wrongdoings.

According to reports, another nanny has taken legal action against Porter and Puffy.

Nanny #2 Amanda Jansen has filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming Porter hired her in 2011 to care for Diddy's children ... but her job quickly turned into that of a full-service round-the-clock housekeeper. In addition to caring for the kids, Jansen claims she worked well over 100 hours a week doing all sorts of chores -- without ever being given a proper break. Jansen -- who claims she was hired as live-in help -- also claims she was never given a room with a working lock ... had no furniture other than a bed and a computer desk ... and was forced to live out of a suitcase. Although Porter is the one catching a ton of heat, Diddy's company is reportedly responsible for paying Jansen.

In the suit, Jansen claims she eventually complained about her crazy schedule -- and was fired as a result. Now, she's suing for overtime, wrongful termination, and more. Sources tell us she's looking for a 6-figure payout. So why is Diddy involved? Jansen claims she was paid directly by Diddy's company, Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment ... and therefore, the company should be on the hook. (TMZ)

Back in April, Kim made gossip headlines when a nanny filed a lawsuit against her.

Kim Porter (pictured), the on-again, off-again girlfriend of hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, is reportedly being sued by her former nanny, Dawn Drago, who alleges that the ex-model's 6-year-old twin girls with Combs were once covered in a mysterious white powder and are constantly surrounded by clouds of weed smoke. Despite the serious allegations, the rap mogul's ex lashed back and offered an explanation for why she was being sued.

Kim Porter responded to the lawsuit saying not only is Dawn a major liar, but she was convicted of shoplifting and never divulged that on her application for employment! 2 Live Crew's Uncle Luke has stepped forward to speak out on his issues toward Bad BoyRecords, notably French Montana and Diddy, over the chart-blazing "Pop That" anthem.

According to Luke, neither Puff or French fully came clean to him on sampling his "I Wanna Rock" hit.

"Ok, let me tell you how it all went off. In the beginning Puffy told me to come to do a video shoot in Miami on Memorial Day last year," Luke said in an interview. "I asked, 'What video shoot, to what song?,' because I work with a lot of kids. They never told me the name of the song nor did they ever send me a copy of the song. So they were basically trying to set me up to be a part of a video shoot to a song that had me appearing on it. ... Second of all these guys had press conferences - this stuff is all online - and this guy is sitting here saying, 'Hey I just did a song with Uncle Luke and all these other guys on the song.' So we're seeing this information online and seeing all the press conferences, and I'm thinking like, 'What song did I do with this guy? I really don't even know the guy.' So they did the video and that's why I didn't appear in the video, because I wasn't going to appear in anything I didn't hear or know anything about." (Hot 97)

A few months ago Montana said his crew did reach out to Luke before the record dropped but discovered the Miami hip-hop artist did not own the rights to "I Wanna Rock."

"Nah, he needs to own his product in order to be paid," Montana said when asked if Luke had received money for sampling his "I Wanna Rock." "We paid somebody named Jay something. He's the one that own it, so, you know. When the record was about to come out, we reached out to him as anybody with any respect for anybody would, and then we find out he didn't even own it. So, what we gonna pay you for? I mean, we brought you out at theBET Awards. Yeah, you know? If you don't own the product, then what am I paying you for? That's called extortion." (Power 99 FM)

Last October, Luke said he would talk to Bad Boy Records CEODiddy about getting paid.

"Pop That," set to appear on French's forthcoming debut Excuse My French, samples the former 2 Live Crew rapper's single "I Wanna Rock." And according to Luke, he hasn't been compensated just yet. "When I heard the song I said, 'Oh this is a hit,' and the next thing I said is, 'Where's my check?" Luke told MTV News on the red carpet at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards. "Ain't nobody told me about my check yet. I have not gotten the check yet, so I'm looking for the check," he said, adding that he would track down French's boss to sort it all out. "I'm gonna talk to Diddy in the back about it." (MTV)

Back in July, Montana put out a music video to complement the summer hit.

When Drake, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and French Montana throw a pool party for a music video, two things are definitely going to be involved. Jamie Foxx Signs On For New SyFy Horror Series

Jamie Foxx will have the opportunity to work behind the camera as the director and writer of a newly scripted series for the SyFy channel.The 5-series horror show, described asa modern day Tales From the Crypt, will premier during the SyFy channel’s annual 31 Days of Halloween marathon.

Foxx shared his excitement on joining the project in a recent interview. “This is a project that I’ve wanted to to do for a long time and I’m so happy to see it come to life… Get ready to lose it when some special friends and I bring the cares this October, and who knows… maybe I’ll make a guest appearance or two along the way.”
