Lady Gaga Tweets Photo of Black Eye After Concert Accident

The Pop Star Feels 'A Bit Woozy' After Getting Smacked on the Head With a Pole

During her New Zealand concert, Lady Gaga told her fans that she felt a bit unsteady immediately after she was hit on the head with a wayward pole being hoisted by one of her male back-up dancers.

She told the crowd: "I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion but don't you worry, I will finish this show." And so she did.

Now two days later, Gaga -- who was indeed diagnosed with a mild concussion -- has tweeted that she's still feeling a "bit woozy" following the head clash in Auckland.

The 26-year-old singer took the picture from her hotel room in Brisbane and wrote: "Emerging from hours of sleep. Still remiss if I should go outside, with this clonker I may be of questionable styling."

She added: "Thank you so much for all the thoughtful messages. I feel a bit woozy but a little better everyday. Very happy to be in beautiful Australia."

It's worth noting that she also made some not so thinly veiled comments about Madonna's cheeky "Born This Way" mashup, during one of her performances Down Under.

"It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work,"she told the audience in between songs.

"That doesn't make me feel good at all. That just makes me feel like I'm not a good human being," she said, adding, "I don't even want to fight back because it's more important to me to keep writing music. Because that's really all I care about, is the music."
