Nicki Minaj is a branding cash cow. From Pepsi to
MAC to OPI, Minaj is about that money making life! Even though our
favorite bubble gum pop rapstress has sold over one million copies of
“Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” a mere four months after its release,
Nicki is still looking for more to do. In a recent interview with
Rolling Stone, the “Pound The Alarm” rapper opened up about wanting to
get her feet wet in the fashion and fragrance worlds.
In the Rolling Stone
interview, Minaj opened up about the Olympics, giving Lil’ Wayne a job
and what she loves most about Trinidad. Minaj also explained the idea
behind her up and coming clothing line:
My boys, like the gay boys, are like, ‘Nicki, please do not exclude us from this clothing line,’ so I’m going to make it my business to have stuff that my boys can wear as well.
Also, it’s gonna build, you know? We’ll see how it starts but I don’t want to leave my boys out. They’re too precious and they’re always so supportive, so I’m going to do my best to include the boys and the girls on this one.
Well, would you look at that! Nicki’s all about her Barbz, even the
male ones that wear more wigs and printed tights than she does! So
because Nicki’s so busy, we decided to help her out with the look of her
new line. Not to worry, we’ve got plenty of options for “the gay boys.”
