R&B singer Trey Songz is aiming for his first No. 1
album on the Billboard 200 chart. His new album, "Chapter V," is on
course to sell between 110,000 to 130,000 copies by Aug. 26. That's
enough to secure the top slot next week.

Songz
has notched four top 20 albums on the tally, including "Ready" (No.
3 in 2009) and "Passion, Pain & Pleasure" (No. 2 in 2010). The
latter was beaten to the No. 1 slot by 1,000 copies when Linkin
Park's "A Thousand Suns" opened in the penthouse with 241,000,
according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Other albums in the hunt for a high debut next week include DJ Khaled's "Kiss the Ring," Owl City's "Midsummer Station" and Tenth Avenue North's "The Struggle."
Khaled's "Kiss the Ring" may sell around 40,000, while Owl City's latest could move 25,000, or so. Christian act Tenth Avenue North may bring in around 25,000 as well.
