Yesterday (Aug. 9), RCA Records announced the promotion of Wendy
Goodman to Vice President Promotion, West Coast Operations &
Adult Music. Previously, Goodman acted as Vice President, Adult
Music.
With this new position, Goodman will continue her work in the adult music sector, but also take on overseeing the operations of the promotion team and field staff on the West Coast.
She is based in Los Angeles and will report to Joe Riccitelli for her new responsibilities. For adult music, Goodman will continue to report to Adrian Moreira.
"Wendy's vast experience, both field and national, makes her a perfect match for this newly created position. Her relationships with our staff, radio and managers is second to none. I am really excited to see her excel in this new role," said Riccitelli in a statement.
Goodman began her work for the RCA family in 2000, when she joined J Records as Southwest Regional Promotion Director in Dallas, TX. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she has held the positions of Director, then Vice President of Adult Formats. Throughout her career, she has helped to launch radioplay for artists such as Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson and Gavin DeGraw.
