SHOULD AFRICAN-AMERICANS BE MAD AT OBAMA?

A New York Times op-ed piece from this weekend claims that African-Americans should overlook the fact that President Obama is black, and admit that the last four years of his presidency have been a disappointment.
Author Fredrick C. Harris says "But for those who had seen in President Obama’s election the culmination of four centuries of black hopes and aspirations and the realization of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of a 'beloved community,' the last four years must be reckoned a disappointment." He goes on to argue that Obama's presidency has not been positive overall for African-Americans, who still rank higher than other groups in terms of poverty and unemployment.
Are you satisfied with the last four years?
