Immortal Technique and his manager arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery of two Santa Ana street vendors.
Immortal Technique and his manager were arrested Thursday for the alleged assault and robbery of two street vendors who were selling merchandise featuring Technique's trademarked logo without his expressed permission.
The street vendors told police that Immortal Technique approached him flanked by 10 to 12 members of his entourage at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA, where the Harlem rapper was set to perform as a part of his 32-city People's Champions Tour along with Talib Kweli. Technique and co. allegedly beat up the vendors and forcibly took their T-shirts, cash, and cell phones.
Immortal Technique and his manager posted $50,000 bail and were released Friday.
