Nicki Minaj says her "beef" with Taylor Swift is no more.
Nicki Minaj made a big appearance on Good Morning America this morning, performing a pair of songs and sitting down for an interview to discuss the recently released VMAs Video of the Year noms, from which her "Anaconda" video was conspicuously absent, and her Twitter confrontation with Taylor Swift. Nicki said her "beef" with Swift is no more."I spoke to Taylor Swift yesterday on the phone," she said. "She was super, super sweet and she apologized. She said, 'you know, look, I didn't understand the big picture of what you were saying, but now I get it.' So we're all good."Their phone call comes on top of Swift's public apology yesterday.“Everyone sometimes speaks out of turns,” Nicki said. ”I’ve been there. Sometimes we do things and we don’t think right away or we don’t investigate, and then we just talk. So it was big of [Swift] to come out and say that. So, yeah, we spoke for a long time. We were cracking up laughing on the phone. It’s over, you guys.”She is still beefing with MTV, however. “We can’t just have one type of body being glorified in the media because it just makes girls even more insecure than we already are."
