Even the most respected celebrities have to watch their backs, and sometimes it's their own family members who are out to get them.
Stevie Wonder's nephew is due in court today for a preliminary hearing after being arrested for a plan to sell a bogus story to tabloids to blackmail his famous uncle.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Alpha Lorenzo Walker threatened to tell the media that he is really Wonder's son from an incestuous relationship with the singer's sister. He originally requested $5 million to keep quiet, but after negotiations with undercover officers who posed as Wonder's representatives, he dropped the price to $10,000.
At a meeting to collect the money, which took place on May 2, Walker and his girlfriend, Tamara Eileen Diaz, were both arrested for involvement in the scam. The couple now faces felony extortion charges and have plead not guilty.
Where is the love?
