Sony Music today announced that Jenifer Mallory has been promoted to
Vice President, International Marketing, Sony Music Entertainment.
In her new capacity Mallory will
lead international marketing campaigns for Sony's U.S.-signed
artists, continuing to work with artists that include Bob Dylan,
Adele, Foster The People, The Shins, Patti Smith and Jack White
among others.
The announcement was made by John
Fleckenstein, Sony Music's Executive VP, International Marketing
whom Mallory will report to directly.
"Jenifer is an accomplished member of our team who has spent a
decade successfully marketing brands, media properties and a stable
of renowned musical artists in the U.S. and around the world via
both digital and traditional platforms," Fleckenstein said in a
statement. "This experience, in addition to her strong leadership
skills, makes Jenifer well suited for this expanded role.
Prior to joining the International Marketing team in 2010 as
Senior Director, Jenifer spent four years at Columbia Records
helping manage the Columbia digital marketing team in New York as
Senior Director of Digital Marketing. She led online campaigns for
Adele's 19, Bob Dylan's Modern Times, John Mayer's Continuum and MGMT's Oracular Spectacular. Previously, she spent three years as Director of Marketing and Promotions at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment.
