IPHONE 5 PRE-ORDERS SELL TWO MILLION UNITS IN ONE DAY

Leave it to Apple to break its own records.
According to the Shopping Blog, Apple has announced that pre-orders for the iPhone 5 topped 2 million in the first 24 hours. This is twice as many as the iPhone 4S.
The new device, labelled "the world's thinnest phone," will be shipped out to customers who pre-ordered it last week on Sept. 21. It boasts a sleeker design, higher resolution camera and improved photo/video capabilities.
Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller said in a statement, "iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal. iPhone 5 is the best iPhone yet, the most beautiful product we've ever made, and we hope customers love it as much as we do."
