Chris Brown has rescheduled his concert date in Jakarta, Indonesia, "due to safety concerns," according to his Twitter account.
The show, which is a part of his current tour around Asia, was scheduled for July 25. A statement by E-motion Entertainment and Trilogy Live said refunds for concert tickets will begin Aug. 3 because there is no determined date of when the show will be rescheduled. "Reasons of security factors that cause delays, we received directly from Chris Brown..." the statement reads. "We as promoters apologize profusely for the incident that really is beyond our control."
According to the Philippines News Agency, Brown was stopped Wednesday morning (July 22) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. The Philippines Department of Justice sent out a bulletin to stop Brown from leaving the country. The bulletin was sent in order to have Brown pay back promoters, who said he failed to perform at a scheduled New Year's Eve concert.
Brown starts the North American leg of his tour on Aug. 12 in Kansas City, Mo. Check out the rest of his tour dates here.
