HULK HOGAN'S EX-WIFE TO STAR AS "MILF" IN NEW RAP VIDEO

Posted May 19, 2012//PMG News//: "You'll forget about that divorce the moment we roll out in my Porsche,"

Adelle Platon

Whatcha gonna do when the 24-inch pythons stop running wild on you?
Well, if you're Hulk Hogan's ex-wife, you go and star in a rap video under the moniker "MILF." According to TMZ, Linda Hogan was just booked for a gig by rapper Ricky Romance, who specifically wrote the song for her.
"I guarantee you'll forget about that divorce the moment we roll out in my Porsche," Romance says on the um...affectionate track. "I'll beat it of course, yeah, daddy do that ... looks like Stella just got her groove back."
Romance told TMZ that he's in love with the 52-year-old. "I hope to marry her and have our first child by next year."
We'll have to wait and see if sparks fly when production starts at the end of the month.

SACRAMENTO, CA //May 19, 2012 //PMG News//:by The Decider for Global Grind Staff

The Justice for Trayvon Martin Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in March of 2012 by Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin. Their mission is to advocate for all victims of injustice and senseless crimes throughout the world - not just young black men.
The foundation is a call to action for justice when it comes to crime victims and their families.
One of their goals is to enact Trayvon Martin legislation to fight back against the unjust "Stand Your Ground" law that is currently practiced in over 20 states in America, increase public awareness against all forms of profiling, and educate youth on conflict resolution techniques.

Trice is ready to reaffirm his “no gimmicks” rep on the mic

OBIE TRICE-Bottoms UP

core member of the Shady/Aftermath machine during its formative years, Obie Trice’s departure from the label in 2008 left the seasoned Detroit emcee’s career in a state of virtual limbo. After a series of delays and more than five years since the release of his sophomore effort, Second Round’s On Me, O. Trice is ready to reaffirm his “no gimmicks” rep on the mic with his new album, Bottoms Up.
Obie doesn’t waste any time getting to the elephant in the room on the album’s self-titled intro as he thanks both Eminem and Paul Rosenberg for their past and present support over Dr. Dre’s sole instrumental offering on BU. Trice’s rhymes verify that there’s no bad blood between he and his former bosses. The Slim Shady-produced “Going Nowhere” follows and right away fans are transported back to the Shady 1.0 days as the D-Town native kicks raps like “Obie bout that change, get rich fast / The Claude Van Damme of the game, kick ass.” Paired with Marshall’s nostalgic production, “Going Nowhere” starts the LP off on all cylinders.

Will Smith Slaps Kiss-Happy Reporter at Moscow Premiere of 'Men in Black 3' (Video)

SACRAMENTO, CA.,//SATURDAY MAY 19, 2012//PMGNews//: Ukrainian reporter tries to kiss Will on the lips on the red carpet..

A Ukrainian reporter got a little too jiggy with Will Smith at the Moscow premiere for Men in Black 3 -- earning a shove and light slap from the angry movie star, clearly annoyed at having a strange man kiss him repeatedly on the face.
The footage, obtained by TMZ, shows Smith in his typical good spirits making his way down the red carpet, openly accepting an embrace from the reporter. But things grow quickly tense as the man, wearing a white blazer, plants two kisses on either side of Smith's face, during which the two men's mouths come in close contact. "What the hell is your problem, buddy?!" Smith says as he pushes the reporter away, then back-hand slaps him on the cheek. Moments later, a slightly shaken Smith is heard to say, "He's lucky I didn't sucker-punch him."
TMZ notes the reporter's amorous interview methods are all part of his "shtick."
A source on scene tells TMZ, the reporter's mouth brushed up against Will's and that's why the actor reacted so violently. Despite the incident, Will stayed positive ... and happily continued to sign autographs for fans and do red carpet interviews.

'American Idol': Joshua Ledet Goes Home

SACRAMENTO, CA.,//MAY18,2012//: PMG News//: For the third straight year, "American Idol" will have a guy-girl matchup in its finale.

Joshua Ledet both crooned and downright shrieked his way into the top three this year, showing a passion arguably unrivaled by the other top contestants. Some of his performances, including "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" and "Ready for Love," were among the best I've ever seen on the show.

So why's he the one going home while Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez move on to the finale?

If you'll recall, Joshua was actually slated in the bottom three males during the top 13 week. It was strange at the time, considering that he'd had one of the most acclaimed performances of the week. It was enough to plant a seed of doubt for me that, regardless of what he did on that stage, Joshua may never attain the same level of popularity as his fellow contestants.

Though it got him this far, so that's saying something.

After taking the news of his elimination (it was either him or Phillip... did anyone really have any doubt?), Joshua killed it onstage again with "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" in probably the best send-off performance of the season. Do I even have to say he'll be missed?

So, America -- Phillip and Jessica in the finale. Happy?

I see Phillip winning the whole thing next week, and as much as it disappoints me to say it, I'm kind of OK with that now. Do I think Jessica is the better singer of the two? Yeah, absolutely. But Phillip's the better artist, and therefore the one more interesting to me at this point. With Jessica, you know what you're going to get. Every week. Phillip? He might piss me off tremendously with a super bad Matchbox Twenty song, or he might pick that guitar like it's nobody's business and do a song totally unlike the way it's meant to be done.

Speaking of guitar pickin' -- I've been thinking about this for a while, and I think Phillip would be tremendous on a Mumford & Sons tune. What do y'all think?

Two singers with new records came on the show this week, with Adam Lambert gaining the upper hand over Lisa Marie Presley in relevance alone. Glambert sounded fantastic on "Never Close Our Eyes," while Lisa Marie was stellar on "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet." I preferred the latter, but I'm also no fun.

Check back next week (on a Tuesday, because "Idol" doesn't care that I have my "Pilates to Michael Bolton" class, I guess) when the top two perform, followed by the two-hour results show on Wednesday.

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP (UMG) AND SCOOTER BRAUN’S SCHOOLBOY RECORDS EXPAND THEIR STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

UMG Will Invest In and Distribute Schoolboy Records Worldwide and Braun Will Serve as a Creative Consultant to UMG Chairman Lucian Grainge

Braun Currently Boasts Three Artists with Singles in the Top Ten on Billboard’s Hot 100 and iTunes charts: “Boyfriend” by Justin Bieber, “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, and “Glad You Came” by The Wanted

Los Angeles, CA, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 – Universal Music Group (UMG) is expanding its global creative investments by entering into a broad-reaching agreement with prominent artist manager and entrepreneur Scooter Braun. The announcement was made today by Lucian Grainge, Chairman & CEO of UMG and Mr. Braun. This announcement builds upon Braun’s recent success—he’s currently involved with three artists who have had singles in the Top Ten on Billboard’s Hot 100 list for the past five weeks: “Boyfriend” by Justin Bieber, “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen and “Glad You Came” by The Wanted.
“As a young man, you always look for more than just a business venture, but mentors,” said Mr. Braun. “Lucian has offered me both the opportunity to work with an amazing company with amazing resources, but even more so, the opportunity to draw from his vast amount of knowledge, having been in the business as long as he has. Lucian doesn’t just look at the business as a music business, but as a worldwide multimedia business. He’s allowed me to be as creative as I want with my artists so that we can build for the future to come.”
“With the barriers of entry to our industry nearly non-existent thanks to the global reach of the internet, it’s now easier than ever for music entrepreneurs to get started,” stated Mr. Grainge. “And we want to be at the forefront of that expansion. Through our global creative investment program, we put real resources and creative support behind entrepreneurs such as Scooter. This is a win-win: entrepreneurs benefit from our support and expertise, while our artists and business partners benefit from their innovation. And there is no one more representative of this than Scooter. He is among the very best in the next generation of entertainment executives and the fact that he’s accomplished so much at such a young age is testament to his vision and drive. I’m looking forward to our collaboration and the level of talent and creativity that will surely accompany it.”
Braun began his career as a party promoter and quickly leveraged his success into a marketing position at So So Def Records, working for Jermaine Dupri while still a sophomore at Emory University in Atlanta. He first discovered Asher Roth on MySpace, and broke him from the blogs with Roth’s 2009 Top 5 Billboard release Asleep in the Bread Aisle and his multiplatinum hit “I Love College.” At 25, he discovered then-13-year-old Justin Bieber and launched him into superstardom. Under Mr. Braun’s tutelage, Bieber’s first album, the seven-track EP My World became a huge success, making him the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber’s next album, My World 2.0 debuted at either number one or within the top ten in several countries. The single, “Baby,” is currently ranked as the most viewed and most discussed YouTube videos of all time. To date, Bieber has sold over 15 million albums worldwide. His newest addition to Schoolboy Records is pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen with her new hit “Call Me Maybe,” one of the fastest growing singles worldwide in UMG history. For more information on Braun’s ventures please visit www.scooterbraun.com
UMG’s global creative investment program focuses on nurturing new creative talent and recognizes the importance of helping music entrepreneurs enter and navigate the music marketplace. UMG’s involvement builds on its expertise and long-term commitment to supporting new businesses, as it partners with some of the most innovative entrepreneurs in and out of the music industry, creating platforms for their growth that are specific to their own individual needs and priorities.
