Recorded before a live audience at the Conga Room in Los Angeles, the engaging one-hour special will feature performances from Ne-Yo’s sixth studio album titled “Non-Fiction,” a concept album that hearkens back to “music’s chivalrous era — one filled with soulful storytelling,” according to a TV One press release.
Ne-Yo has the audience “chair-dancing” and singing along during his sizzling session as he takes them on a journey through the album, which is described in the press release as a “musical collection of experiences, both real and fiction.”
“About half the songs on this album are based on the stories that were given to me by the fans,” Ne-Yo explained during an enlightening interview with host Smokey Fontaine.
He also shared the story of how he landed his first record deal, and how growing up in a house with eight women shaped his life and his career.
“If nothing else, it taught me the strength of a woman,” he said. “I think that’s why people feel I can write for women so well.”
The imaginative songwriter was quite amused as he shared the inspiration for Beyoncé’s hit, “Irreplaceable.”

Ne-Yo recalled a cherished conversation he had with Jackson saying, “He told me that he was really proud of the work that I was doing — I’ve yet to receive a greater compliment! And then he said that he wanted us to actually work together on some stuff. So I’m floating, I’m on Cloud Nine, and he said something that really stuck with me. He [said] ‘Music is like shapes and colors.’ That’s when I kind of mellowed out because when I’m thinking of a melody, it happens in a color or a shape. Like, different melodies have different colors, they have different shapes, and I thought I was the only person that saw it like that. So when he said it, I was like, ‘Did my management put you up to that?’ So we’re officially connected now!”

Karrueche Tran: OWN Interview Is About Her ‘Mistakes’

Karrueche’s OWN interview airs tonight, March 28, but she’s getting emotional before her heart-to-heart talk.

Image result for Karrueche TranShe posted a new message on Instagram saying the interview is about her ‘mistakes’ and ‘poor choices’ she’s made in the past. Is she dissing her relationship with Chris?

Karrueche Tran, 26, is telling all in her March 28 OWN interview. The model and former girlfriend of Chris Brown, 25, is revealing her feelings on everything from Rihanna, 27, to Chris’ baby bombshell. Before the interview, Karrueche posted an honest message saying this conversation is about “recognizing my mistakes” and moving forward. We know Karrueche’s upset over her breakup with Chris, but is she saying she regrets her relationship with him?

Karrueche Tran Disses Chris Brown Before OWN Interview — New Message

Here’s what Karrueche posted on March 28 just hours before her OWN interview is set to air:
“This evening the interview with Iyanla Vanzant and I will air. This is about recognizing my mistakes and learning from them. I own up to all the poor choices I have made and pray for the better. I pray everyday to God to strengthen me as a human and a young woman. I only ask that you at least understand me, whether you continue to like me or hate me. At the end of the day, we all have not been at our best at times so please learn from me and never forget to love yourself.”
Whoa. Is Karrueche calling Chris a “mistake” and a “poor choice?” Given the pain and heartbreakshe’s suffered after it was revealed Chris had a baby daughter with another woman, she just might be.
In the interview, Karrueche cries over the baby news, but HollywoodLife.com has learned that Chris trusts that Karrueche won’t completely slam him on camera. Well, that may be the case, but she may have just jumped the gun.

Karrueche Tran Interview: How She Found Out Chris Brown Was Cheating

The love triangle drama between Karrueche, Chris and Rihanna never seems to end! Karrueche confesses in her OWN interview with Iyanla Vanzant just how she found out Chris was cheating on her with Rihanna. Apparently, Chris had told Karrueche that he was leaving his L.A. home just for awhile. Hours laters, photos of Chris and Rihanna at a Los Angeles Lakers game surfaced.
“I didn’t want to believe it,” Karrueche says in the interview. “I was under the impression that it was a friend-type of… not a friend, but it wasn’t what it became to be.”
Karrueche’s interview is definitely going to shake things up. Chris is planning on watching it, but he may not like what Karrueche has to say.

Kanye West and Damon Dash in Talks to Buy Menswear Site Karmaloop

Kanye West and Dame Dash may be coming to the rescue of Karmaloop, the online street wear retailer that recently filed for bankruptcy restructuring. The pair announced their intention to buy the company in a series of Instagram postson Thursday following talks with Karmaloop founder Greg Selkoe.

"Honorable people stick together, so this how the generations do. [Inaudible, gestures to West] we linking up and we decided to buy Karmaloop -- we just talked about it, it's gonna happen."
It was announced this week that the 15-year-old Karmloop would be restructuring after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to debt. In response to rumors of West and Dash's interest, Selkoe confirmed on Tuesday that the three were "talking" and on Thursday tweeted that it was "good speaking" with West. Following concern that he would be leaving the company he told one fan on Twitter that "I am here to stay no matter who we join forces [with]."
Image result for kanye west and damon dashWhile the Boston-based company's core business of online retail remains strong, it accumulated a "bunch of debt" from the launching of recent business startups, Selkoe told the Gearbottle website. "Debt from companies I started with the support of my team, with the support of the investors," he said. "Some additional e-commerce sites that I think probably would've done well, but it was just too much going on at a time, we burned too much on them. So this restructuring deal will help us rid that debt and emerge from this."
Selkoe previously teamed with Pharrell Williams on his Karmaloop TV network.
Details of Dash and West's plan to buy Karmaloop have yet to be revealed, nor is there an official deal in place. Selkoe reiterated to the Boston Business Journal on Friday that "Kanye and Dame are among several people we've spoken with about Karmaloop. We're having a lot of conversations and seeing intense interest in our brand."
