In Die Antwoord’s new video for “Fatty Boom Boom” they portray Lady Gaga getting eaten by a lion and now the pop star has sttuck back at the act using the fine art of slam poetry. Seriously.
Gaga took to Twitter to write, ““i fink u freaky but you don’t have a hit. hundred thousand tIckets sold in SA. #thatmyshit” and then followed that up by saying, “i guess its not a good idea to tell someone you’re a fan. never mind! we get it, you’re not a little monster. WE GOT IT.”
Presumably delighted by the press, Die Antwoord struck back writing, “lady… even tho u r ‘larger’ than us… we still cooler than u… plus we don’t have prawns in our private parts.” They also posted a picture of Gaga’s tweet on their Facebook page which garnered praise from tens of thousands of fans of the South African rap group.
The weirdest part about this whole incident is the fact that the whole beef started when Die Antwoord declined an offer to go on tour with Gaga. For more Lady Gaga, check out her Myspace radio channel.
