SXSW Inc, today announced the launch of SXSW V2V, a four-day event dedicated to entrepreneurship that will take place at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, August 11-14, 2013. The conference, according to its website, "is an extension and re-imagining of the 26-year-old Austin event" aiming "to bring visionaries active in the startup communities across all the creative industries that SXSW is known for…"
Programming for SXSW V2V began with ideas from SXSW's panel interface which received a number of startup-themed proposals for its various conferences, including SXSW Interactive, Film, Music, SXSWedu and SXSW Eco. The event's programming will come in part from ideas already submitted as well as from new ideas that can be submitted here.
SXSW V2V will feature panels, workshops, speakers, intensive mentor and coaching programs, networking events and receptions, pitch competitions and startup showcases.
