DWAYNE JOHNSON TO STAR IN 'HERCULES' MOVIE

We guess The Rock can't get enough of what these big, bad-arse characters are cooking! Details after the break.
Paramount and MGM will co-produce "Hercules," an upcoming film about the mythic hero starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, which the studios announced on Wednesday. Johnson had been reported as "in talks," and now his casting is official. The Brett Ratner-directed action film was adapted from Radical Studios' graphic novel "Hercules: The Thracian Wars" by Ryan Condal; Evan Spiliotopoulos did script revisions.
The Rock has a hefty schedule ahead on him as he'll next be seen in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," "Snitch," and Paramount's "Pain & Gain," due in theaters April 26, 2013.
