NICKI MINAJ FINALLY PUTS END TO MARIAH CAREY BEEF?

After months of "American Idol" panelists Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey feuding, the Young Money star now claims she is on good terms with her one-time rival.

Although she would not delve into their current status, Minaj did say there are no problems between her and Carey.
Hold up, hold up, hold up. Cue the Big Sean ad-lib, please, because Nicki just professed her "love" for the people on "Idol." Did that include her co-panelist Mariah Carey, who she dubbed "Shady McGrady" during an epic Twitter rant last month, which was fueled by a leaked set video that captured the two divas dueling? So we asked the MC whether she and MC had patched things up. "We've been fine," Minaj said, exasperation creeping into her voice. (MTV)
On Minaj's new "My Truth" reality show premiere, she playfully took a shot at Carey.
Speaking in her new reality show 'My Truth', Nicki revealed: 'I think Mariah met her match this time, and I don't think she was expecting to meet her match. 'I'm super nervous and anxious for the first day on 'American Idol'. I'm still second guessing my decision. I'm probably going to be a hundred times guessing this decision because I'm human. It's a big job.' The outspoken rapper was true to her word and proceeded to have a meltdown because her new stylist had misjudged her taste in clothes mere hours before the first day of auditions, and she branded all her options 'ugly'. Last month, an "American Idol" producer addressed Nicki's war of words with the R&B veteran.
"American Idol" producer Nigel Lythgoe is adamant ... the bitter feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj is as real as it gets -- and his proof lies in simple logic. Nigel was out in L.A. yesterday when we asked for the final word -- did he or did he not stage the feud for ratings??? -- and Nigel replied, "I have no idea why I would be doing it [for ratings] five months before the show went out." He added, "I would only do ANYTHING for ratings a month before the show went out. They've got my timing wrong." Translation: keep your eyes out for a crazy "Idol" ratings ploy in three months. (TMZ)
West Coast rapper Game gave his take on the feud in October.
The outspoken MC also weighed in on the Nicki vs. Mariah Carey "American Idol" feud, taking a diplomatic stance. "I think one day when Nicki's career is said and done, she'll be legendary," said Game. "I think that Mariah Carey is bigger than life. I think she's like female Elvis at this point. Two amazing women should be able to get along and I'd love to see that happen sooner than later." (Rap-Up)
