SONY PICTURES TO BRING ‘GOOD TIMES’ TO BIG SCREEN

Hollywood loves doing remakes, re-dos and revamps, and television classic Good Times is next up for a big screen makeover. Sony Pictures has tapped Shaft producer Scott Rubin and Wreck It Ralph co-writer Phil Johnson to take the reigns.
The groundbreaking sitcom, which aired on CBS from 1974-1979, focused on working class couple James and Florida Evans as they raised their three children in a Chicago housing project.
