Mike Abrams, former director of digital programming at iHeartRadio, has left the company.
"They eliminated a few positions, including mine," Abrams told Billboard.biz. "I don't know too much about it, since I work in L.A. and [Clear Channel] is based in New York."

Though he doesn't know yet where he will be working next, Abrams said that he hopes to remain in radio and that he has been contact by a few people following the news of his exit.
Before working at iHeartRadio, Abrams spent 12 years at Sirius XM, where he was senior director of music programming. He is remembered by many for his time in the early '90s as programming coordinator for New York hip-hop station Hot 97 (WQHT).
