Warner Music today announced that Tim Fraser-Harding, the label's current SVP of global catalog management based in London, has been promoted to the company's president of global catalog, recorded music. Fraser-Harding will replace Kevin Gore, who is leaving for an undisclosed job.
The label also announced the elevation of Mark Pinkus to president, U.S. catalog and Rhino Entertainment from his current post as Rhino's SVP of sales and marketing. Pinkus will report to Fraser-Harding, who in turn will report to WMG CEO Steve Cooper.

Warner Music corporate has been relatively under-the-radar this year, striking a partnership with Shazam for access to the music identification app's proprietary data, giving it a window into what Shazam's purported 420 million users tag with the service.
The company also began divesting some of its assets in March to meet a deal the label made with Merlin and IMPALA over its acquisition of Parlophone for $765 million. That deal had a part in the downgrading of Warner Music's corporate family debt rating by Moody's following its debt refinancing arrangement in March.
