Rapper to host Derby Eve Party in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, KY - 50 Cent is set to have a “50 Cent Derby Takeover” party and afterparty at Club Liv;133 West Liberty Street, Louisville, KY 40202 on May 6, according to a flyer posted on Fox 19.
The Kentucky Derby is set to take place May 7 in Louisville.
Young Buck; DJ Fresh, Rich Homie Quan’s tour deejay; DJ E-Feezy; and DJ Slikk are also scheduled to be part of the “50 Cent Derby Takeover."

The event’s flyer, which is below, doesn’t list a start time but says that it will take place until 6 am and that “late night adult entertainment” will be available from 3-6.

Several rappers, including T.I. and Nelly, have also appeared at the Kentucky Derby and its related festivities throughout the years.
Effen Vodka Presents The 50 Cent Derby Takeover which will happen Friday, May 6, at Club Liv on West Liberty Street. The party will feature several DJs, celebrities and food vendors. Guests will include DJ E-Feezy, The Wolf of South Beach. Young Buck, DJ Fresh, (Rich Homie Quan’s DJ) and DJ Slikk will be a part of what promoters are calling the "Main Event".
A list of celebrity guest will be released in coming weeks.
There will be a "Taste Room" with some of Louisville’s top chefs. "The Seafood Lady" will be at the event from 12:30 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Latricia Soul Food will cook breakfast for guests from 4:00 am to 6:00 am.
The party is expected to last from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
